What: Earth Day Expo 2018

Where: Habana Outpost, Fort Greene

Next Saturday is opening day at Brooklyn’s favorite eco-eatery Habana Outpost, where the locals come for the frozen mojitos (made on a human-powered bike blender), fun outdoor setting, and great grilled corn. As part of the restaurant’s Earth Day Expo 2018, Habana is offering a full-day schedule of free green activities for all ages. Expect everything from composting workshops to seed giveaways.

Cost: Free

How to get there: C train to Lafayette; G train to Fulton; N/R/D/M train to Atlantic Avenue – Pacific Street. (Habana Outpost, 757 Fulton Street; 718.858.9500; cafehabana.com)

  1. I walk by Habana every day and I've been watching them prepare for the reopening. It's going to be a huge party this weekend! I can't wait to start eating there again! Great article, as always, COC!
