What: The 14th Annual Tour de Bronx sponsored by Transportation Alternatives and the Bronx Borough President, Adolfo Carrion
Where: Check in and begin the tour at the Bronx County Building (161 Street and The Grand Concourse). Or choose one of these other starting points: Henry Hudson Park in Riverdale, Muskrat Cove at the Woodlawn Metro-North Station, or the New York Botanical Garden Metro-North Station.
When: Sunday, October 19th, check-in is between 8:15 and 10am, depending on the start location. Remember: you must pre-register before midnight on Thursday, October 16th
Why: To the people who wish they had more time to pedal outdoors, to the really fit, and those who love leisurely long rides in spandex, this event is for you. Join other cycling fans in New York’s largest free cycling event. Choose from one of two routes: the 25-mile less arduous cruise for any age and skill level, or the 40-mile route for more experienced bikers. Consult your glutes and the route details before making your choice. Once you have completed the ride, stick around for the Grand Finale Festival at the New York Botanical Garden.
