What: The 1st Annual Bergen Lot Party
Where: The empty lot at 450 & 448 Bergen Street, between 5th Ave and Flatbush Ave.
When: Friday, September 10th from 6-11pm; Saturday, September 11th from 10-8pm
Why: We’ve already taken you on “A Walk Down Brooklyn’s Bergen Street”, and now you’re invited to the Bergen Lot Party. The eclectic collective of small businesses that make up one of Park Slope’s most thriving shopping avenues host a block party this Friday and Saturday in conjunction with Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out.
The event will also raise money for Brooklyn charity The Center For Anti-Violence Education with raffle ticket prizes, including gift certificates to participating businesses.
The two-day event kicks off on Friday at 6pm with an ice sculpture carving at art and clothing boutique EPONYMY. There will also be a DJ and cocktails served by local bar Weather Up. Shops will stay open until 11pm.
