Description
Founded by Chef Peter Jackson (who is not associated with the Lord of the Rings trilogy), Canvas Underground aims first and foremost to bring people together under unique circumstances and in an inspirational environment. The small supperclub parties are about enjoying quality food, interesting people, and art in ever-changing venues.
Canvas Underground, a member of Ghetto Gourmet (a social network of sorts for “guerrilla dining” experiences), is all about community. Locals offer up their homes (or lovely gardens) as venues, amazing chefs produce gourmet dishes sourced from local purveyors, and ingenues from around the Bay provide entertainment, from live music to literary readings.
