Description
Ask anyone around town where you should go for a meal in Tiburon, and they’ll tell you Sam’s Café. Sandwiched between Main Street and the Bay, this mainstay is easy to find—just look for its red neon sign.
Opened in the 1920s, Sam’s began as a meeting place for railroad and maritime workers. Today it’s a mecca for locals and tourists looking for good eats and a great atmosphere. The interior is decorated with dark wood and old photographs, but the place to be is the massive back patio, the ideal spot to take in some sun, Bay and city views, and delicious eats.
The extensive menu at Sam’s covers brunch, lunch and dinner, and ranges from juicy burgers to seafood packed cioppino to New York steak. Can’t wait? Check out the action on this live feed of Sam’s deck (best viewed during daylight).
