What: CHOICE Presents a Festival of Art, Media, Culture, and All Things Cool
Where: 303 Grand Street, at Havemeyer, Williamsburg
When: Sunday, March 1—Sunday, March 15th
Why: It’s the latest event to lube up Brooklyn‘s constantly orgasming art scene. Starting this Sunday, Manhattan’s culturatti will be flocking to Williamsburg for the new rotating storefront/pop-up shop 303Grand; an experimental series promises live art performances from The Fantastic Nobodies, a Do It Yourself craft market and workshop, Seasick Mama’s “canvas to clothing” designs, and many more local innovators with tricks up their sleeves (we hear a temporary wedding chapel and wellness center with tea ceremonies and a zen garden is coming soon). Jesus may have turned water into wine, but we mortals can do beer into chocolate, no lie. RSVP here for the March 15th Flavor Tripping Party celebrating 303Grand and try the fruit that makes such a miracle possible. Pro-CHOICE, people.
Cost: Free
How to get there: Take the L train to Lorimer. Exit on Union & Metropolitan end. Walk four blocks West on Metropolitan to Havermeyer. Left on Havermeyer and down two blocks to Grand. Right on Grand and its just off the corner. (303grandnyc.com)
