Description
All of the bikes at Bay City Bike are guaranteed to be in good shape, since the shop sells and replaces all bikes on a yearly basis. Comfort bikes start at $32 a day, performance bikes start at $40 a day, and children’s bikes cost $20 a day. Electric bikes are also available for $50 a day. Reservations are not required, but those who reserve ahead online receive a 10% discount.
While this shop is mostly geared toward daily rentals (check out our favorite 10-mile rides that will get you your fix within that time), weekly rates are also available. Contact Bay City Bikes through their website to tell them your dates and discuss rates.
Bay City Bike guides lead tours across the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.—you can add this to your reservation when booking online, and you can also add a return ferry ticket if you choose.

Directions
Take BART to Montgomery Street and head north on Sansome Street toward Bush Street. Take a left on Washington Street, and then a right onto Columbus Avenue and a slight right onto Taylor Street. The shop will be on your left.
