Description
Built in 1931 as a movie theater, the Paramount lives up to its name. This gorgeous icon of the cinema’s golden age now hosts all sorts of shows, from theater and dance to music and stand-up. Its vast interior feels a little like theatrical fairyland—where even if you’re sitting in the last seat in the place, you feel like you’re experiencing something special.

A great (and inexpensive) way to enjoy the venue? Try Paramount Movie Classics nights, when the theater screens vintage movies just as they were shown originally, replete with newsreel, cartoon, and an added modern contest.

A Paramount Tip: Bring your lion-esque courage to the balcony seats. You get a great view of the theater and the stage, but it’s a steep climb and a long way down!
