Motivate, the new operator of Bay Area Bike Share, has announced a major expansion of at least 1,300 bikes. The company’s signature seafoam-green bikes will appear on the streets of Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville, with 1,000 slotted for San Jose. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2017.
