Massachusetts is sweetening the cultural pot this summer with Free Fun Fridays. On select Fridays this summer, over 85 of the state’s most popular museums, historic places and scenic sites will be gratis for all visitors. You’ll detect a distinctive Berkshires twist with Tanglewood (July 21), The Mount (June 23) and the Norman Rockwell Museum (June 30) charging no admission.
Throughout the season, head to Boston for free entry into the classic’s including the JFK Presidential Library and Museum (July 28) and The Institute of Contemporary Arts (August 18).
The season ends on August 25 with free entrance to family favorites including The Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River and Plimoth Plantation.
