This weekend boasts plenty of possibilities to combine outdoor exercise with some fun. On Saturday, July 16, join the Levis Commuter Launch event. Kick it off at Velo in Manhattan and then bike over the Williamsburg Bridge to continue the party at Affinity Cycles. Enjoy the launch of the new Levis 511 Commuter series and drinks provided by Heineken. There is even an after party at Lady Jay’s, just down the block from Affinity.
On Sunday, the outdoor fun continues at The Morgan, a new indoor/outdoor venue in Bushwick. Watch as professional track bike racers (including former and future Olympians) sweat it out on stationary rollers in the pro invitational Kissena Royale championships. The party begins at 4pm and the racing starts at 6pm. Admission is $5, which includes a t-shirt and access to cheap beer, BBQ and live music. There is even a free bike valet so no worries about getting your bike snagged.

Sarah Knapp is a Brooklyn based entrepreneur whose love for the outdoors and community building led her to the October 2013 creation of OutdoorFest.
