San Carlos (also known as “the city of good living”) boasts a rich history. Caltrain picks up in China Basin or Dogpatch in the city and speeds down the peninsula to San Carlos. It is also possible to take BART to Millbrae and transfer to Caltrain (although this is a slightly longer journey).
