Not only is Oakland a growing foodie hub, but it is also becoming known for its wine scene. Now, wine enthusiasts are invited to the inaugural Oakland Wine Festival, held on July 18 at Mills College. Participants can relax in Mill’s beautiful indoor spaces, leisurely tasting wines with internationally recognized and highly acclaimed winemakers.
Events include winemaker panels, an intimate winemaker luncheon and dinner, and an elegant baby grand tasting. Renowned chefs such as Fred and Elizabeth Sassen from Homestead and Jerome Fressinier from Picán will elevate your experience with exquisite courses to pair with your favorite wines.
