Half Moon Bay is a great weekend or day trip destination, filled with farms, gorgeous scenery, and relaxing activities. Spend a day shopping and strolling in the downtown area, or take in the scenic town’s namesake bay and four miles of craggy coastline. Be sure to stop by one (or several) of myriad roadside stands for some fresh produce and freshly caught seafood.

On Weekdays: Take bus route 110 from the Daly City BART Station or Bus Route 112 from Colma BART Station. For either route, get off at Linda Mar Park and Ride in Pacifica, then take the bus route 294 south along the coast to Half Moon Bay
On Weekends: Still take either bus route 110 or 112, but ride route 17 (instead of route 294) when you get to Linda Mar
Duration: 1.5 hours, including any wait for connections
Cost: $2 each bus ride, $8 roundtrip from SF
