Meet Sam(Trans), your chauffeur of sorts to destinations from Half Moon Bay to Palo Alto. The San Mateo County Transit District (which is also responsible for Caltrain) operates this great system of buses connecting San Francisco to destinations in San Mateo County and down the peninsula. SamTrans also offers easy transportation to SFO.
Direct buses are available from San Francisco to many points in San Mateo and along the peninsula. Sam Trans also connects to BART and Caltrain stops to provide service to other destinations like Half Moon Bay and Pacifica.
