As of today, on-demand carpool company Via is now offering its rideshare services down to Houston Street. While it previously only offered rides between 14th and 110th Street, Via’s expanded operation includes the East Village, West Village, Alphabet City, NoHo, Greenwich Village and NYU, making it even easier for New Yorkers to avoid the stiflingly hot subways en route to their destination.
Prepaid rides cost $5. For more info and to download the app, visit ridewithvia.com.
