Description
Nestled in the middle of a quiet residential area, Indian Rock Park offers picturesque trails, great views, and challenging rock climbs for beginners. Hike to the top of the highest rock outcrop to take in incredible Bay views (both Alcatraz and Treasure Island are visible on a clear day). Steps have been cut into the rock to make for a fairly easy climb. For a more challenging route, tackle one of the steeper trails.
The park is open late (until 10 p.m.), so grab a headlamp and set out in the late afternoon to watch the last rays of sunlight fade over the water.
