Covering more than 350 acres of land, Huntington Central Park is worth a visit. even more worth trying: A tour of the park from a different point of view—atop a horse. The Park’s Equestrian Center teaches newbies how to hop on a saddle.

Head for the lush rural hills overlooking Huntington Central Park on a one-hour guided trail ride offered through the Equestrian Center’s Horse Play Rentals. Beginner and advanced riders are welcome. Tickets are $55 per rider.
