Founded in 1964 in Marin County, Mike’s Bikes is a Bay Area mainstay, now with stores in San Rafael, Sausalito, San Francisco, Berkeley, Palo Alto, Sacramento, Los Gatos, Petaluma, and Walnut Creek. It’s even rumored that the San Rafael store sold some of the nation’s first mountain bikes.
