Description
Set atop a small hillock in Napa Valley, Sterling Vineyards, may seem like one of the many vineyards in the area. But unlike the others, Sterling reachable only via its aerial tramway. Once at the top, enjoy wandering through art galleries and peering out at the lush surrounding area. The vineyard offers all visitors a complimentary tasting of five wines, plus a souvenir wine glass.

General admission includes tramway fee, self-guided tour, and wine tasting for $25 (visitors under 21 enter for $10 and children under 3 are free). Upgrade your admission price to taste the vineyards’ exclusive reserve wines.

Directions
Hop aboard the Baylink Vallejo ferry, and then take the Napa VINE route 10 bus to Calistoga.
