Review: Ventura’s Historic Pier

Ventura Pier
Ventura, CA 93001

Stretching out into the ocean, Ventura’s historic, wooden pier is the perfect spot to take snapshots of Ventura’s pristine coast. Expect to see rows of eager fishermen lining the sides of the pier by day. Besides breathtaking views, the pier offers a restaurant, snack bar and bait shop.

It’s best to drive to Ventura (take 101 South to exit 70A/Ventura Avenue), but once in town there are plenty of car-free activities, including a trip to the Channel Islands.
