But what if you missed the boat and have just discovered that (shock!) Amtrak has been sold out for weeks? Or what if freezing cold and massive crowds just aren\u2019t your thing?<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t fret, all you home-bound Obama-philes\u2014you happen to live in New York\u2014city where the streets erupted on November 4 and city that promises no less on January 20. Regardless of what party you belong to, we all wish the new president great success. Let&#8217;s start fresh together by watching a broadcast of the historical ceremonies, including the post-swear-in parade, at any of the following:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Rose Cinemas<\/strong> of the <a title=\"BAM\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bam.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Academy of Music<\/a> <strong>Cost:<\/strong> free. <strong>Time: <\/strong>Starting at 11 a.m. tickets are available. <strong>How to get there:<\/strong> <em>The BAMbus picks up at Park Avenue between 41st and 42nd Streets <strong>Cost:<\/strong> $7 ($6 for subscribers, Friends of BAM, and students with valid ID). For reservations call 718.636.4100. Or take the 2\/3, 4\/5, B, or Q to Atlantic Avenue, the C to Lafayette, the G to Fulton Street, or the N\/R, D, or M to Pacific Street. The B25, B26, B41, B45, B52, B63, and B67 buses all stop within three blocks of BAM. <\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Medgar Evers College<\/strong>, 966 Fulton St. in Crown Heights will show the ceremony in the Founders Auditorium. Doors open at 10 a.m. <strong>Cost: <\/strong>Free<strong> How to get there: <\/strong><em>Take the 2, 3, 4, 5 to Franklin Avenue. And walk down Franklin Avenue towards Empire Blvd. or take the B44 or B49 bus to Carroll St.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Grace Agard Harewood Center<\/strong>, 966 Fulton St., Brooklyn, is hosting a day-long celebration, complete with lunch. <strong>Cost:<\/strong> $3 suggested donation. Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. <strong>How to get there:<\/strong> <em>Take the A or the C to Clinton-Washington Ave. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Take a walk down memory lane at the <strong>\u201cYes We Can\u201d photo exhibit<\/strong>, a chronicle of the campaign trail thanks to Brooklyn photojournalist Scout Tufankjian. <strong>Price: <\/strong>Free <a title=\"The Powerhouse Arena\" href=\"http:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/events\/museums\/262058\/3830879\/yes-we-can\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Power House Arena<\/a>, 37 Main St at Water St. Dumbo, Brooklyn (718-666-3049).
