Why:<\/strong> If you didn’t get your fill of vintage and repurposed at Baltimore’s six best second-hand shops<\/a>, check out the final antique flea of the year, Second Sunday Antique Markets<\/strong>, in the heart of Historic Fells Point. One of Baltimore’s original neighborhoods, it’s the perfect setting for a market selling everything from the very, very distant past to the not-so-long-ago. (Where does a vinyl copy of Michael Jackson’s Bad<\/em> for $20 land on that timeline?)<\/p>\n

On our visit in August, we spotted pocket watches, baseball cards, Matchbox cars, Mickey Mouse statuettes, cocktail sets, vintage luggage, pocket knives, cameras, tattered Tom Robbins books, Pucci-inspired scarves and, yes indeed, lots more stuff. Luckily, the area around the Broadway Square market is loaded with cafes, restaurants<\/a>, and bars so you can take a break before getting back to sifting through bric-a-brac. If you find a rare treasure, celebrate at Red Star<\/a>, a few blocks away, where the Sunday brunch includes bottomless mimosas or bloody Marys.<\/p>\n
