Starting in Van Cortlandt Park, the flat trail meanders north through Westchester up\u00a0to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.captainlawrencebrewing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Captain Lawrence Brewery<\/a>. Relax with a beer before catching\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mta.info\/mnr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Metro-North<\/a> home.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hikers and Trail Runners Hit the Jackpot at the Staten Island Greenbelt<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With over 35 miles of tree-lined trails and zero\u00a0noise pollution, the <a href=\"http:\/\/sigreenbelt.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Staten Island Greenbelt<\/a> offers\u00a03,000 acres of forested land to explore. Accessible from the Staten Island Ferry, then\u00a0the S61 bus or bike, the Greenbelt is one of the city&#8217;s best places to spend a peaceful afternoon.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Aquatic Bliss on the Hudson River\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Living on an island means you\u2019re surrounded by plenty of aquatic adventures. Whether by kayak, sailboat, canoe or stand up paddleboard, you can easily explore NYC from a completely different perspective.
