On select Fridays this summer, over 85 of the state\u2019s most popular museums, historic places and scenic sites will be gratis for all visitors. You\u2019ll detect a distinctive <a title=\"The Best Things to Do in Lenox, MA\" href=\"https:\/\/offmetro.com\/ny\/2015\/03\/29\/things-to-do-in-lenox\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Berkshires<\/a> twist with Tanglewood (July 21), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edithwharton.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Mount<\/a>\u00a0(June 23) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrm.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Norman Rockwell Museum<\/a>\u00a0(June 30) charging no admission.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the season, head to Boston for free entry into the classic&#8217;s including the JFK Presidential Library and Museum (July 28) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icaboston.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Institute of Contemporary Arts<\/a>\u00a0(August 18).<\/p>\n<p>The season ends on August 25 with free entrance to family favorites including The Children\u2019s Museum of Greater Fall River\u00a0 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plimoth.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Plimoth Plantation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Free Fun Fridays runs\u00a0June 23rd &#8211; August 25th, 2017.\u00a0For a complete schedule and list of the 85 participating venues, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonmagazine.com\/arts-entertainment\/blog\/2017\/05\/10\/free-fun-fridays-2017-schedule-massachusetts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Massachusetts is sweetening the cultural pot this summer with Free Fun Fridays.
