Manhattan by Sail, New York Harbor\u2019s fleet of historic schooners, is offering a sail for two aboard Clipper City<\/a>, New York\u2019s only Tall Ship and one of America\u2019s largest sailing boats in commercial operation today. A recent addition to the fleet and an environmentally low-impact way to tour NYC, the sailboat was rebuilt from the National Archives to resemble the same clipper ships that navigated the harbor centuries ago. The term \u201ctall ship\u201d is no exaggeration; Clipper City is 160 feet long, with masts towering as high as 135 feet off the deck.<\/p>\n The winner can choose from a daytime sail ($78 value), twilight sail ($90 value), or the city lights sail ($78 value). The sail is valid any time from the season\u2019s start on April 24th through mid-October. Clipper City sails daily from Pier 17 at South Street Seaport.<\/p>\n
