Description<\/strong>
\nThe Bike Hut is located on the scenic South Beach, close to numerous bike trails around the city. Basic mountain bikes can be rented for $6 an hour or $22 per day, and tandem cruisers are available for $11 per hour and $36 per day. Kids\u2019 bikes are available for $3 an hour. All rentals include helmets, locks, and maps. And the Bike Hut also offers longer term rental or repurchase agreements upon request (they also sell very inexpensive used bikes<\/a>).<\/p>\n

There aren\u2019t any fixed- gear or high- end road bikes available, but if you call ahead of time you can reserve a baby seat or child trailer. Although there are slightly fewer bike options here than at other rental places, the Bike Hut is unique in that it is a non- profit 501(c3) organization that promotes cycling for underprivileged youths and refugees\u2014so you don\u2019t have to feel guilty about splurging.<\/p>\n

To add even more fun to your ride, the Bike Hut specializes in organizing bike camping trips<\/a> (which are exactly what they sound like).<\/p>\n
