Description<\/strong>
\nIt’s fitting that this Santa Rosa gem has two names. Call it Valley of the Moon Pottery or North Eagle Gallery\u2014whatever it is, it’s a free-spirited, anything-goes kind of spot. The sort of place (founded by hippy artists who met at a modern dance class) where you go to find some peace. And some pottery. And maybe a Christmas tree.<\/p>\n

Yes, we said Christmas tree. In addition to selling pottery and teaching pottery classes ($125 for a series of four), Caryn Fried and Wayne Reynolds also operate a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm, where stump cultured cutting (you leave the few bottom branches so a new tree grows from the same stump) continues that whole “renewal vibe.” And, of course, that pottery makes pretty good gifting as well.<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>
