The Top Three Ice Cream Spots in the Bay Area

Treatbot ice cream

Ernestine Ulmer once said, “Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.” These are words to live by when you try Treatbot the Karaoke Ice Cream Truck. There is a reason this sweet spot is one of the South Bay’s most popular ice cream trucks—and it’s not just the awesome name. The long queues are thanks to Treatbot’s unique flavors, rich consistency, and the karaoke. Yes, you read that right. There is a karaoke system by the service window where you can belt out “Bohemian Rhapsody” while enjoying your scoop of Pumpkin or Bollywood Pistachio.

On a busy Saturday at the Annual San Jose Taco Festival of Innovation, Treatbot’s Victoria Dzuong took time out from serving bruléed crepe horchata ice cream tacos (it wasn’t named the “Festival of Innovation” for nothing!) to tell us about her favorite ice cream joints in the Bay Area—after Treatbot, of course!
