Review: The Vail Cascade Resort and Spa

1300 Westhaven Drive
Vail, CO 81657

If you are looking for the perfect romantic getaway in the cozy mountain town of Vail, Colorado, look no further. Set amidst the unparalleled alpine beauty of the Rocky Mountains, the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa is by far the best choice to spend a romantic ski weekend with that special someone. Beautiful rooms (spend extra on the Deluxe Mountain View room for gorgeous views and a fireplace), an on-site ski lift, a giant fitness center and three hot tubs (one bubbling alongside Gore Creek) make for a luxurious vaycay.

And our favorite part: The Cascade resort is dedicated to environmental sustainability. The tasty dishes at the hotel restaurant Atwater are made from local organic ingredients and fresh herbs and berries grown in the on-site gardens. And the Cascade’s gorgeous health club has also recently gone  greener: The running track and weight lifting mats are now made out of recycled material. Plus, the Cascade hosts monthly Candlelight Nights, during which all electric lights are shut off to preserve energy.

Feel good about going green while indulging in unmatched luxury at the Cascade. Caution: you might never leave. (Rooms from $359 a night.)
