This year is the 30th anniversary of Coney Island’s Mermaid Parade! Annabella Sciorra (of The Sopranos and Law & Order: CI) is the Mermaid Queen and Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling is King Neptune. The parade starts at 2 p.m. and the Mermaid Ball follows at 7 p.m. at the NY Aquarium (21+, $30).
